Scott Atchison is a Senior Plant Manager within CoorsTek’s Aerospace & Defense Business Unit. He has operational responsibility for manufacturing facilities in Benton, Arkansas; Lexington, Kentucky; and Golden, Colorado. He leads all aspects of plant operations, including safety, quality, production, and continuous improvement, with a focus on optimizing performance and delivering high-quality advanced ceramic armor components for defense applications. He brings a broad manufacturing and leadership background spanning 28 years across multiple industries, with high level leadership roles in both Human Resources and Operations. This combination of experience gives him a unique blend of operational and workforce expertise. Known for building high-performing teams, Atchison emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and a strong safety culture while driving measurable results and aligning plant execution with strategic business objectives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Louisiana Tech University and plays a key role in advancing CoorsTek’s manufacturing capabilities.
