About me
Dr. Samantha Christian serves as dean of curriculum and assessment at National Park College, where she teaches general psychology, developmental psychology, and abnormal psychology. She has also taught undergraduate and graduate courses in research methods and statistics at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has published research on topics including student success and service-learning.
Additionally, Dr. Christian provides workforce development training at NPC for local organizations, specializing in leadership, motivation, communication, ethics, succession planning, and team building. She also leads NPC’s executive leadership program, helping C-suite executives develop the skills and strategies needed to enhance leadership effectiveness and drive workforce success.
Dr. Christian earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a master's degree and doctorate in industrial-organizational psychology from Capella University.
She serves as board chair of the Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center and previously chaired the City of Hot Springs Parks and Trails Advisory Committee. She is also vice president of the Friends of Majestic Park Board of Directors and a member of the Women with a Mission Giving Society.
